Beth has been doing billing and coding since 1990. Beth has worked in internal medicine, ENT, cardiology, plastic surgery, chiropractic, non-surgical orthopedics, neurology, and for the last 8 years orthopaedic surgery. Beth has previously managed 2 different practices, but her preference is to strictly do billing. Beth is now currently an independent contractor who does billing for Dr. Newfield. Roberto Alvarez Tamayo

Roberto Alvarez Tamayo

Registered Medical Assistant

Roberto Alvarez Tamayo comes to us with over 10 years of medical experience. He is a Registered Certified Medical Assistant and Cardiac Monitor Technician. Prior to coming to the United States, Roberto is a Cardiovascular Surgeon and a General Surgeon in Cuba.

He is currently working on obtaining his provider status within the United States. He shares the same passion as Dr. Newfield when it comes to working and helping underprivileged and minority populations. Roberto has served in multiple countries working in the ER, Primary care facilities and clinical settings. Along with all these assets, Roberto is also Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Roberto is passionate about helping others become whole again. He is driven to ensure that all of our patients concerns heard. He takes time to help answer any questions necessary to keep our patients comfortable and reassured.

In Robert’s free time he enjoys, watching movies, shopping and eating out. He is the proud father of two confident and amazing children. We are privileged to have Roberto as part of the Newfield team.

Heidi Hoffman

Practice Manager & Marketing Director

Heidi comes to us with over 15 years experience in the medical field. She has worked in the hospital setting, specifically Cardiology, and has also worked in office settings for ENT, Kids Therapy and Orthopaedic practices. Her greatest fulfillment was in Trauma Orthopaedics as she saw the benefits of treatment for the patients. Heidi as the practice manager, is able to handle any issues that arise, assist patients with questions or concerns regarding their plan of care, and be a sympathetic listener for both staff and patients. Her goal is to be available for all to create symbiotic relationships within the practice. Some of Heidi's greatest assets for our team are organization, compassion for our patients and extensive knowledge of how to run a successful medical office.

In Heidi's free time she enjoys spending time with her children, including playing sports together. She also plays tennis and is involved with local outreach programs and charities.
